Our Bogolan clothes are 100% handmade by artisans of Northern Mali in Africa. Each piece is a unique item. It takes almost a week to create one piece. Bogolan has a very important place in Malian culture, it is a traditional craft. The cloth is hand-painted with fermented mud and plant dyes, this is why Bogolan is also known as « Mud cloth ».
It is a real African fabric loaded with history and meanings.
